Globally, the major causes of poor vision or vision loss are cataract and refractive errors. In order to address this, it is important to ensure access to quality eye care services.
Al Baseer Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to serve those suffering from ‘Vision Loss’ due to the unavailable, unaffordable and inaccessible quality eye care services.
Through support and donations, we have been able to examine more than 200,000 people and perform 15,000 cataract surgeries since the inception of the foundation.
With your support, Al Baseer aims to provide integrated people-centered eyecare services in 2021 and benefit more than 50,000 patients in year 2021 through hospital and community eyecare activities.
